Professional Information
Dr. Trisha Swift has dedicated her professional career towards advancing the transformation of the healthcare industry into offering data driven, high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care. Trisha joined Jacksonville University in May 2017 as an Assistant Professor for the MSHI program. An Advanced Practice nurse by training her clinical expertise is in the following areas: critical care, medicine, cardiology, and peri/post-operative. Trisha’s professional expertise covers a wide range of areas, such as: development and implementation of strategic plans, clinical and operational workflow design, physician alignment and integration, development of nursing professional practice models, performance improvement, data analytics, and integration of healthcare IT solutions. Trisha’s professional experience has included several executive leadership roles ranging from director to corporate vice president in areas such as nursing, quality/safety, regulatory compliance, informatics & data analytics, and performance improvement.
