The goal of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program is to educate advanced practice nurses who can demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills in evaluating the health and illness of selected populations. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree prepares nurses for the highest level of clinical practice in the profession of nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). This program is available to candidates who have not yet earned a master's degree.
