CESSNA 172

CESSNA 172 aircraft

The Cessna 172P is used for the Private Pilot Certificate and as part of the training of Flight Instructor Candidates. The Cessna 172 is a four seat, single engine, high wing airplane with fixed tricycle landing gear. It is probably the most popular flight training aircraft in the world. First flown in 1955 and still in production, more Cessna 172s have been built than any other aircraft. Equipped with a 160 HP Lycoming O-320-D2J engine, the C-172 cruises at 120 knots. Throughout the years the Cessna 172 has had very little changes in its basic design.
