Position Summary
A non-tenure track visiting faculty position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2019. Candidates must have a strong desire and proven ability to work in small class settings and direct projects with undergraduates as part of a new four-year program in Mechanical Engineering. Normal teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. Teaching assignments can range from core engineering courses to concentration courses in specialized areas. A strong background in fundamental mechanical engineering is required with preference given to candidates in mechanical systems.
The successful candidate must have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, but Ph.D. is preferred.
