Student Spirit Pack Pick Up

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST

Students receiving a pre-purchased student Spirit Pack should have received an email with pick up locations and times on campus. Extra Spirit Packs will be available to students who didn't have one pre-ordered in their name for a $45 donation to the JU Parents Fund.

Student for a Day in the Future - Jacksonville University STEAM Institute

11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. EST

Join Dr. Murat Tiryakioğlu, executive vice president of STEAM Initiatives at Jacksonville University to learn about the STEAM Institute, its programming, and the future collaborative space on-campus.

Green Key Induction Ceremony 

5-6 p.m. EST

Alumni, families and friends are invited to join Jacksonville University's oldest honor society, Green Key for their induction ceremony and celebration of its newest members. Green Key Honor Society recognizes the top 1% of students on campus. Members are invited to join and are a part of a special and exclusive family of students and alumni.

Parent & Family Zoom Mixer

7:15-8:15 p.m. EST

Join the Office of Family Engagement virtually to meet other Jacksonville University families! Attendees will have a chance to learn more about the Office of Family Engagement and be mixed randomly into Zoom Break Out Rooms to mingle and make connections with other families.

Participate in the Marine Science Research Institute's virtual service project to enter for a chance to win an official MSRI OCEARCH t-shirt and Tervis Tumbler. Post a photo from your waterfront cleanup location using #JUStayAtHomecoming and tag @MSRI_JU to enter!

MSRI Virtual Service Project: Waterfront Cleanup

Jacksonville University is fortunate to be located along the banks of the beautiful St. Johns River. Through partnerships with OCEARCH and St. Johns Riverkeeper, our students learn the importance of keeping our oceans and waterways clean. Spend some time outside near a lake, river, ocean or pond in your area and join us in a waterfront cleanup project from your hometown. If you are local to Jacksonville, FL help the St. Johns Riverkeeper scout out new cleanup locations by reporting them through their Water Reporter app. Take a photo from your waterfront cleanup site and tag @MSRI_JU to enter to win today's #JUStayAtHomecoming social contest.

5:30-6:30 p.m. EST

Mingle with fellow Class of 1970 alumni in celebration of your 50th Reunion! We look forward to celebrating your reunion in person at Homecoming 2021.

School of Aviation Alumni & Friends Gathering

7-8 p.m. EST

Chat with School of Aviation leadership, industry leaders, fellow alumni and current students during this virtual meet up. The School of Aviation looks forward to planning its 35th Anniversary Celebration and Alumni Dinner in the spring or when it is safe to gather on campus again. If you would like to be a part of a small celebration planning committee, you are encouraged to attend to learn more!

JU Campus Door Decorating Contest Voting

Follow @JacksonvilleU on Instagram and vote for your favorite area of campus showing the most creative displays of Dolphin pride! The winner will receive a prize valued at $200. Students and the JU campus community may submit their door decorations here until October 5.

Lunch Music with the Jacksonville University Singers

Noon - 1 p.m. EST

The University Singers present a virtual concert of solo and chamber vocal music. From Madrigals to Brahms, tune in for some of choral music's greatest hits!

Friends and fans do not want to miss out on Jacksonville Athletics' packed social schedule celebrating our phin-tastic fans and teams! Highlights include; Row Across Florida coverage, facility project check-ins, a day in the life with Darnell Haney, fight song performance with the JU RipCurrent Pep Band, lunch story time with student-athletes, a virtual t-shirt toss, film breakdowns with John Galloway, a list of our coaches' favorite books, a mid-afternoon hype up with women's lacrosse, a men's basketball season preview, clinics with select teams, an at-home workout with strength & conditioning, and close the day with happy hour over a re-streamed JU Baseball win!

DolphiNurse Alumni Network Gathering

7:30-8:30 p.m. EST

Join nurses from around the world for a networking event, discussion, and celebration in honor of Year of the Nurse.

Fireworks Display

9:30 p.m. EST

To close out the University's Homecoming & Family Week, students will celebrate with a fireworks display on campus. The fireworks display will be streamed online for viewing through JU's social media accounts for guests.
