Required Documentation for New Hires
The required documentation to hire faculty should be submitted via DocuSign link which is located in your MyJU portal under 'University Forms' in the Office of People & Culture section.
Please note: Hiring packets will not be processed until Academic Affairs receives all official transcripts.
Faculty Documents
All of these documents should be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs when hiring a new faculty member.
- Approved HR Action Form to open the position
- Faculty Qualification Certification Form
- Memo to Hire
- Signed by chair/unit administrator and Dean.
- Faculty Application
- Curriculum vitae
- Letter of Intent (LOI) signed by Dean
- Letters of recommendation (3)
- Original transcripts from all institutions
- Transcript Notice Letter
- If applicable. Do not use this form if transcripts are in hand.
- Employee Benefit Document Access Acknowledgement Form
- For full-time faculty only.
Adjunct Documents
All of these documents should be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs when hiring a new adjunct faculty member.
- Faculty Qualification Certification Form
- Memo to Hire (Adjunct agreement and full time faculty overload)
- Signed by chair/unit administrator and Dean.
- Adjunct Faculty Application
- Curriculum vitae
- Letters of recommendation (3)
- Original transcripts from all institutions
- Transcript Notice Letter
- If applicable. Do not use this form if transcripts are in hand.
- Learning Outcome Letter
- If the adjunct has less than a Master's degree in the discipline being taught.
- Copies of all licenses and certifications
- If applicable.
Additional Documentation
- Faculty Overload / Adjunct Agreement/Memo to Hire
- To be completed for faculty overload stipends and/or adjunct agreements each semester.
