Résumé Review Process

  • Virtual Review- Submit your résumé via email. Résumé must be a Word Document, and the email subject line must read "Résumé Review" (include your professor's name if it is for a class assignment). You will receive a reply within two business days.

  • In-Person Review- For a more in-depth review and discussion on elements of your résumé, call our office at (904) 256-7054 or schedule an appointment in Starfish to set up a time. Bring a printed copy of your résumé to your appointment - or have a digital version ready for online appointments. Appointments take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Résumé Writing Tips

Before you begin drafting your resume, start by asking yourself some critical thinking questions to get some ideas for the content of your resume. The Resume Content Page will help you lay a solid foundation for your resume. Next, take a look at some resume examples to assist you in developing a resume structure.

It's time to select a format that works best for you.  Refer to the Transferable Skills Inventory and Action Verb Sheet to help bring your resume to the next level. You can also refer to CRC resume guidelines for any questions you may have.

You should have several people review your resume and provide constructive feedback. It may take you 3-4 drafts before you are confident with your final version. We, at Career Management, are always here to review your resume. Call our office to schedule an in person appointment, or email your resume as a Word document with "Resume Review" in the email subject line for a virtual resume review.
