The Black History at JU Project Curating the JU Black Experience

Jacksonville University's newest affinity group, the Black Alumni Network, has launched the Black History Project at JU with the goal of documenting the role of Black life at JU since the University's founding in 1934. The project's continuing objective is to research and disseminate a varied set of materials that shed light on this rich, significant legacy.

The Black Alumni Network invites alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to submit your photos, stories and reflections with us.

Submit Your History

We can't promise to publish everything we receive, but we will do our best to provide a compelling literary (and video) Black History Month experience culling from historical publications and new submissions.
