If you are interested in applying for the National NROTC Scholarship, accurate and timely completion of the application is crucial for its approval. For students in high school, the application process for the National NROTC Scholarship can be started as early as June between your junior and senior years.

Note: The application contains a section titled "College Preferences and Current Studies," and asks for your top five college choices. In order to maximize your chances of being assigned to the Jacksonville University NROTC Unit, indicate Jacksonville University as your first choice and a strong desire to attend Jacksonville.

Apply for the Jacksonville University NROTC College Program if one of the following apply:
- If you missed the deadline for the 4yr scholarship.
- Did not apply for the 4yr scholarship.
- If you are already a student at JU, FSCJ, or UNF.

completed College Program applications must be submitted to the JU NROTC Recruiting Officer by 15 JUNE. Applications may be submitted via mail, email, fax, or dropped of in person at the Jacksonville University NROTC Tillie K. Fowler Building.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION. They can be sent via email (nrotcrecruiter@ju.edu) or by traditional mail. If using traditional mail, be sure to allow enough transit time so that they will reach the NROTC by the 15 JUNE due date. Any application submitted will not be considered until the NROTC has received, at a minimum, the unofficial transcripts from the spring semester.
Admission to Jacksonville University

Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DODMERB)
Physical Exam
Scholarship applicants are required to complete a DODMERB physical exam.
Once your application has been completed, you will receive a post card from DODMERB instructing you to schedule a physical exam.
