We are happy to announce that the JU Community has been very busy engaging with service activities!

 

Faculty Professional Development

The Service-Learning office regularly offers faculty professional development to enhance community engaged course offerings. During the spring 2021 semester, we are hosting a series of workshops to support faculty in enhancing their service-learning courses. Thank you to our spring 2021 faculty participants- Dr. Nisse Goldberg (biology), Dr. Wyndi Capeci (speech pathology), and Prof. Shelley Grant (sociology). 

New Course Development 

Faculty who are interested in developing a new service-learning course, should contact Dr. Laura C. Atkins for more information about starting the process. Proposals for spring service-learning courses must be submitted for review by week four of the preceding fall semester, and proposals for fall service-learning courses must be submitted for review by week four of the preceding spring semester.
