Students enrolled in the MS SLP Program receive simulation training throughout the curriculum. Standardized patient actors interact with the students for developing interviewing, assessment, and therapeutic skills. Students take vital signs, assess lung sounds, practice positioning, and perform procedures, such as endoscopy or placing Passy-Muir valves, on high-fidelity manikins.
