Five Star Veterans Center

The Five Star Veterans Center puts military veterans who are experiencing homelessness back to work by providing safe and secure housing with wraparound services, intensive case management and counseling that promotes mental and physical wellness.

American Cancer Society 

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem.

Arlington 20/20

The Arlington 20/20 program seeks growth in homeownership, improved educational outcomes, reduction in crime, increased viable business activity, and positive shifts in the public perception of Arlington - all to improve the quality of life for residents.​

Blue Sky Foundation

Blue Sky Foundation was created as a vehicle to host a variety of sports events (tennis, golf, baseball, etc.) that would serve as fund raisers for different children's charities. As a result of any monies raised, it is our sincere hope that we might be able to give many kids the hope of better tomorrows.

The Carpenter’s Shop Center is a faith based organization that improves the health of families by connecting them to resources, providing programs and services that empower and educate families so they can lead responsible, productive lives.

Certified athletic Trainers in Every Local High School

In partnership with High School Athletic programs throughout the city, Jacksonville University provides certified athletic trainers to provide services to their teams.

Children of Fallen Patriots

The Children of Fallen Patriots' mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Jacksonville University was the first such institution to provide students within the CFP programs significant tuition benefits.

City of Jacksonville Sheriff's Initiative

Jacksonville University President, Tim Cost, chairs a task force for the City of Jacksonville Sheriff's Office wherein leadership from across the city come together to make the Jacksonville community a stronger and safer place.

City of Jacksonville

Jacksonville University has partnered with the City of Jacksonville since its Chartering in 1934. Most recently, JU and COJ have worked extensively on Renew Arlington.

JaxCorps

The City of Jacksonville's volunteer program directed by Employee Services. It is a partnership between residents and city government. JaxCorps provides the residents of Jacksonville with opportunities to be exposed to all aspects of city government. Volunteers work side-by-side with City employees.

Clara White Mission & White Harvest Farm

The Clara White Mission works in partnership with the community to prevent and reduce homelessness through advocacy, housing, job training, and employment.

Community Connections

Community Connections develops imaginative and resourceful strategies and community partnerships to meet the ever-changing and multifaceted needs of working homeless and low-income women, children and families in Northeast Florida.

Cummer Ball at Cummer Museum

Jacksonville University is a continued supporter of the Cummer Ball supporting the Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens.

Duval County Public Schools

Duval County Public Schools is the 20th largest school district in the nation and the sixth largest school district in Florida. The district is committed to ensuring that students are prepared for success in college or a career, and life. In addition, the district will make sure its mission of providing educational excellence is reflected in every school, in every classroom, for every student, every day.

Earn Up

Earn Up is an ambitious higher education collaborative organized by the JAXUSA Partnership with a goal of having 60 percent of adults with training certificates or college degrees by 2025. The collaborative is promoting "higher earning through higher learning," based on research that shows the single greatest predictor of economic success in a community is the number of degreed and industry-certified people who live there. www.earnup.org

Feeding Northeast Florida

Feeding Northeast Florida's mission is to banish hunger from all 17 counties in Northeast Florida. Their goal is to rescue all the food that would otherwise be destroyed and get it to the tables of the families in our community who need it – Fast, Fresh and Free.

Florida Geography Bee

Jacksonville University has hosted the Florida Geographic Bee on numerous occasions for students all across the state.

Global Cities Initiative

In Nov. 2013, the Jacksonville metro area was selected to join a new exchange network created by the Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of Brookings and JPMorgan Chase. Jacksonville joins Atlanta; Greenville, S.C.; Indianapolis; Milwaukee; Phoenix; Sacramento, Calif.; and Wichita, Kan., in the Exchange's inaugural class, which will work together over the next four years to establish new metro-to-metro relationships and to share best practices in global economic development.

JU Juvenile Justice Program

A public-private partnership academic program that offers students in DCPS opportunities for empowerment and lessons in breaking down stereotypes.

JU Orthodontics Small Smiles Program

JU Orthodontics has been offering access to orthodontic care to the greater Jacksonville underprivileged population through a Pro-Bono system (maximum 30 in any given year since 2003) along with the Small Smiles program for foster children (up to a dozen/year).

Justice Coalition

One Spark

One Spark is an annual crowdfunding festival held in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida, United States. In the event, "creators" display projects in five categories, and attendees vote to award $300,000 in crowdfunded prize money. The event also offers opportunities for private investment in projects as well as speakers, music, and entertainment.

PACE Center for Girls, Jacksonville

PACE provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy.

St. Vincent's Healthcare Foundation

St. Vincent's HealthCare, based in Jacksonville, Florida is a network of three acute-care hospitals, a long-term skilled nursing facility, 30+ primary care centers, nearly a dozen medical laboratories, transportation and prescription services, and a health outreach ministry.

TEDxJacksonville

TEDxJacksonville aims to open minds with inspired ideas. It is made up of a group of volunteers who are licensed by TED to independently organize TED-like events in Jacksonville, Florida.
