Professional Information
Dr. Albert Villanueva-Reyes is an Associate Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences at Jacksonville University. In 1983 he received his B.A. in Secondary Education with a specialty in teaching Spanish as a primary language, from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Villanueva-Reyes also holds a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology (1991), and a Doctoral degree in Teaching and Curriculum with a specialty in Hispanic Linguistics (2001), both from different campuses of the University of Puerto Rico. In year 2004, previous to completing a postdoctoral program in Clinical Research (UPR), Dr. Villanueva-Reyes graduated from a specialized program in Vocology (Science of Voice Habilitation), offered by a consortium between the National Center for Voice & Speech and the University of Iowa. Dr. Villanueva-Reyes is currently working towards a Masters in Divinity at Grace School of Theology, located in The Woodlands, Texas.
