Elizabeth Krajewski

Founding Chair

Elizabeth Krajewski will be serving as the Chair of the Public Policy Alumni Association. She is currently the Legal Administrator & Operations Director at Florida Women's Law Group. Krajewski was in the Master in Public Policy inaugural class where she also earned her JD. Proceeding graduation, she worked at the Jacksonville Public Education Fund, and later served as the Program Manager for the Public Policy Institute for several years. Krajewski is a wealth of knowledge, and her policy and research interests include economics, education, and women's law.

 

Ashley Barr

Ashley Barr

Founding Secretary

Ashley Barr will be serving as the Secretary of the Public Policy Alumni Association. She is currently the Director of Strategic Planning & Grants for Duval County Public Schools and graduated with her Executive Master in Public Policy in December 2020. Barr has been a public servant for over 18 years, carrying with her expertise in computer science and organizational leadership in addition to education. Barr's policy and research interests include education, social welfare, civil rights and liberties, and technology.

Javon Knight

Founding Community Engagement & Partnership Chair

Javon Knight will be serving as the Community Engagement and Partnership Chair of the Public Policy Alumni Network. He is currently a Policy Associate at Husch Blackwell Strategies. Knight has held several leadership positions including the inaugural minority fellowship in the Public Policy Institute, a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow, and a Legislative Assistant, as well as serving in the district office of U.S. Rep. Al Lawson. He earned his Master’s in Public Policy in May 2020. His interests include affordable housing, transportation, and economic development.

Anna McDaniel-Wyatt

Founding University Liaison

Anna McDaniel-Wyatt will be serving as the University Liaison for the Public Policy Alumni Network. She is currently an Analyst at PIE Network, a network of education reform advocates and policy professionals, as well as a writer and communications consultant. McDaniel-Wyatt is an education policy and communications expert, having worked in the nonprofit and K-12 education sectors for over a decade. She earned her Master’s in Public Policy in May 2019; her policy and research interests include education, families, and civil rights and liberties.

 

JENNA

Jenna Blyler

Founding Communications Chair

Jenna Blyler will be serving as the Communications Chair for the Public Policy Alumni Network. She is currently the Communications Manager at Jacksonville University in the Office of Marketing and Communications. Blyler's professional experience is in copywriting and digital marketing in higher education. Blyler graduated with her Master in Public Policy in 2021, where she focused her capstone research on risk perceptions, ratio bias, and political behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research interests include scientific integrity, political attitudes and cognition, political psycholinguistics, and numerical and verbal framing effects.
