Provost's Fellowship (Program on pause for Fall 2020)

The Provost's 2020 Fellowship is a highly competitive grant program that awards faculty with dedicated course release time for proposal development, writing, and submission.  Proposals may be for grant funding or for a prestigious award or fellowship. 

Faculty RCAS  (Program on pause for Fall 2020)

The Faculty RCAS provide seed funding to support faculty-initiated research, scholarship, and creative activity. Competitive grants are awarded to assist faculty in developing new lines of inquiry, which may include collecting pilot data, exploring innovative forms of creative expression, writing and publishing original scholarship, and/or developing proposals for external funding.

Faculty SOS (Opening Spring 2021)

The Faculty Summer of Scholarship (SOS) grants provide seed funding to support faculty-initiated research, scholarship, and creative activity. Competitive grants were awarded to assist faculty in developing new lines of inquiry, which may include collecting pilot data, exploring innovative forms of creative expression, writing and publishing original scholarship, exhibitions of original work, and/or developing proposals for external funding. The meaningful inclusion of student workers is required for all Faculty SOS projects.
