Compliance
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs supports the responsible conduct of research at Jacksonville University and serves as the administrative office for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). ORSP also provides guidance and support related to research compliance training, financial conflicts of interest, and other institutional, regulatory, and sponsor requirements.
Research Compliance Training Requirements
Jacksonville University uses the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) to provide required research ethics and compliance training for faculty, staff, and students engaged in research. CITI offers online training in areas including human subjects research, animal care and use, responsible conduct of research, and other research compliance requirements.
