Mr. Anurca has been a bassoonist for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra since 2009. From 2004-2007, he was a member of The New World Symphony America's Orchestra Academy of Miami Beach. He also played with several orchestras in the Southeast including: The Savannah Philharmonic, Charleston Symphony, The Florida Orchestra, The Palm Beach Opera, and the Grammy nominated Seraphic Fire and Firebird Chamber Orchestra. During the 2009-10 season, he served a one-year position as Associate Principal and Contrabassoon with the Kansas City Symphony. After that year, he was appointed 2nd Bassoon and Contrabassoon for the 2010-11 season with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.

Early on, had the opportunity to play during the summers at the Spoleto Music Festival and Aspen Music Festival where he studied with Nancy Goeres. Mr. Anurca earned a Bachelor of Music Performance in Bassoon from the University of Cincinnati in 2003. He held the position of Associate Principal Bassoon and Contrabasson with the Kansas City Symphony from 2009-2010.
