Choral Union

If I can sing, I still am free. What is Choral Union?
Choral Union is a Jacksonville University choir (SATB) comprised of local community members and Jacksonville University affiliated faculty, staff, and students. This group is designed to provide an opportunity for artists across our city to sing in collaboration and create beautiful music together.

Programs and Performances
The collection of music that Choral Union sings is diverse and timely. From classics across the world such as Verdi's Va Pensiero, Purcell's Come Ye Sons of Art, and Copland's Zion's Walls, to more contemporary works such as But a Flint Holds Fire by Andrea Ramsey, The Winter is Past by Dr. Jeremy Faust, and Ysaye Barnwell's On Children.
Choral Union performs several times throughout the academic year, both on campus and in the community. We partner with other Jacksonville University ensembles including the University Singers, RiverTones, Infinitus, and the Jacksonville University Orchestra. We love to have fun, as shown by our Halloween concert, The SoundS of Shibboleth.
