CMHC Program Information Sessions

If you are interested in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, we invite you to attend a virtual CMHC Program information session to learn more about JU's Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. This exciting graduate degree program was designed to meet the need for mental health and wellness services in our community. Everyone is welcome – no specific undergraduate degree is required for admission.  The application deadline for the Fall 2024 cohort is February 15, 2024.

Play Therapy Graduate Certificate Program Virtual Information Session

If you are interested in the JU Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy, we invite you to attend a virtual information session to learn more about our 12-month graduate certificate program. The program designed to provide mental health professionals with advanced training in play therapy philosophies, theories, and interventions, as well as how healthy play interactions shape a child's developing brain and relationships in order to apply that knowledge in their work with children and families. The next certificate start date is January 2024. Applications will be due in December 2023.

2023 Black Mental Health Symposium is coming to Jacksonville!

Dr. LaTonya M. Summers, founder of the Black Mental Health Symposium, will bring the 8th annual (hybrid) Black Mental Health Symposium to Jacksonville, September 28-29, 2023. This solutions-based conference is a gathering of professionals who work to destigmatize mental illness, increase access to care, and improve wellness among Black communities. *Earn up to 12 NBCC and NASW (pending approval) CE credits. Lunch is provided both days onsite, and on Friday to virtual attendees (lunch will not be provided to virtual attendees who register after 9/20).
