The Business Administration (General Business) major is designed for students who have a keen interest in learning the skills necessary to succeed in business. Students are provided a broad overview and cross-section of functional business knowledge and skills. No matter what industry is pursued students shall be prepared with core business skills beneficial to advancement in their careers.
The Business Administration major has a progressive and relative course design, which enables students to learn key areas within an organization and provides a broad search of career opportunities upon graduation.
Classes such as accounting, statistics, management, marketing, and finance, among others, will prepare students for the essential areas within a business. Given the wide range of career goals and industries a student may pursue upon graduation, a degree in general business will prepare him or her for the next step.

The general business program at JU provides the foundations for entry-level management positions in a broad range of industries and careers both in the public and private sector domains.

Several key executives and upper-management positions are now being performed by Davis College of Business graduates.
