Landing Page Kit
Required Component
Hero
The first block on the page should be this hero block.
Suggested copy, which we’re happy to help you develop:
DEPARTMENT NAME
A summary of your mission statement or what you do.
Optional Components
Copy & Dates
This block works well as an introductory area. The block to the right could be used for deadlines, dates, etc., or for a featured event you want people to register or buy tickets for. It's important to have a plan to update the page immediately following the event if you use this module for the featured event functionality.
Copy and Image
A good alternative introductory block if your office/department isn't very date-dependent.
Featured Video
This block includes space for a video and some kind of call to action, as well as a video transcript.
Facts & Figures
There are four versions of this block. Your page may use only one instance of this block. It's best to use this only if you have facts/figures that will be truly impressive even to people outside the University.
Spotlight
Ideal for an impactful callout, an announcement, something you want to draw attention to.
About & Contact Info
Best suited for describing your office/department and highlighting the best person for the public to contact. The box on the left can be used for an embedded RFI (request for information) form if appropriate.
Social Feed
This block is set, by default, to promote the JU social feeds. If you would like to promote different social profiles, you will need approval from Katie Jackson, Director of Digital Media. If you have an Instagram feed you would like featured instead of the JU one, the cost is $10. You can choose between a green background or a light one.
Quick Links or Calls to Action
This block is designed for areas where visitors have several action-oriented tasks they're probably looking to accomplish. You can choose between 6 links or 3 links.
Quote or Testimonial
The 'read more' link at the bottom of this block is optional. It could link to a Wave article or another page, or it can be removed so the focus is on the quote.
