Description: Department of Computing Science is hosting a Mock Interview event for our students in Computing Science and Cybersecurity to help you hone your interview skills and engage with our esteemed professors and industry experts. This invaluable opportunity awaits you on March 1st.

Each participant will be allocated a 20-minute slot for their individual Mock interview. Please bring your 1-2 pages resumes to the interview.

Deutsche Bank Field Trip - Sponsored by Deutsche Bank and NSF S-STEM

 

Description: We will have a 3 hours in-depth field trip in Deutsche Bank on March 26th.  It would be more interesting/fun for you to visits different departments.  Right now, we have the following teams from Deutsche Bank line up to meet you all: Cyber Security, Networking, End User Services, Command Centre which handles issues from around the global.  We will meet the senior leadership team too.

Cyber Competition Practice (Wireless Access Exploitation)

 

Description
In a cyber competition practice focusing on wireless access exploitation, participants develop skills in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in wireless networks.

  • Defense Strategies

The practice helps participants develop a deep understanding of wireless network vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques, equipping them with valuable skills for securing wireless networks against cyber threats.

Jacksonville University Hackathon 2024 – Sponsored by CSX
 

Description: In this Hackathon, multiple teams will work on solving a real-world problem provided by CSX. Teams formed from CS/Cybersecurity/Engineering students will compete to design and develop a Railroad Crossing Reporting System that meets CSX requirements. The developed solution involves integrating software and hardware components.

Date: TBD

Time: The Hackathon will be a one-week long competition; it starts on Saturday 12:00pm and ends on Friday 12:00pm.
