Professional Information

Dr. Lori-Ann R. Pietruski has resided in Jacksonville for over 30 years. She has been an Occupational Therapist for over 30 years with the majority of her experience in pediatric settings. She is the Doctorial Capstone Coordinator for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. She received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Her capstone focus was on occupational therapy’s role in post graduate community-based vocational education programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Florida International University and a Master of Education with a focus on Handicap Services from the University of North Florida.

Dr. Pietruski has given continuing education lectures on handwriting, adaptive equipment in the classroom, how to make a sensory friendly classroom, and preparing for the NBCOT exam. She served as a mentor to new staff at a large inpatient rehabilitation hospital and in a public school system.
