Academic College Challenge

By participating in the College Challenge, your college could win over $25,000! Colleges will compete against each other for the following prizes:

Most Donors

  • First Place: $10,000
    • Congrats to the College of Arts & Sciences!

Most Dollars Raised

  • First Place: $10,000
    • Congrats to the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences!

Barnes & Noble Fast Start

  • $5,000 awarded to the college with the most alumni donors in the first two days (February 22-23, 2021) thanks to our friends at Barnes & Noble
    • Congrats to the College of Arts & Sciences!

Benchmark

  • $1,000 awarded to each college with 50 alumni donors by February 26, 2021
    • Phins Up to the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences, College of Arts & Sciences, Davis College of Business, and Linda Berry Stein College of Fine Arts!

Athletics Challenge

Each of our JAX Athletics teams and the spirit squad will compete against each other for the chance to win challenge matches, secure benchmark incentives, and ultimately raise support for each of their programs so our student-athletes can continue to succeed on the field, in the classroom and in the community. Prizes include:

Most Donors

  • First Place: $3,500
    • Congrats to Spirit Squad!
  • Second Place: $1,500
    • Congrats to Women's Lacrosse!
  • Third Place: $1,000
    • Congrats to Women's Soccer!

Most Dollars Raised

  • First Place: $3,500
    • Congrats to Men's Lacrosse!
  • Second Place: $1,500
    • Congrats to Men's Golf!
  • Third Place: $1,000
    • Congrats to Women's Lacrosse!

Most Improved From 2019

  • $1,000
    • Congrats to Men's Golf!

Highest Alumni Participation

  • $1,000
    • Congrats to Women's Lacrosse!

Best Social Media Ambassador

  • $1,000
    • Congrats to Men's Soccer and Head Coach Mauricio Ruiz!

Fast Start

  • $1,000 to the team with the most donors after the first two days (February 22-23, 2021)
    • Congrats to the Spirit Squad!

Finish Strong

  • $1,000 to the team with the most donors on the last day (February 26, 2021)
    • Congrats to the Spirit Squad!

Benchmark Prizes

  • Alumni Benchmark (25 Alumni Donors): $250 per team
  • Consistency is Key Benchmark (more donors than 2019): $500 per team
  • Consistency is Key Benchmark (more dollars than 2019): $250 per team
  • Champions (every coach/team member becomes social media ambassador): $100 per team

Black Alumni Network Challenge

If 100 supporters give to the Black Alumni Network Scholarship, we will donate an additional $10,000 to the scholarship fund!

GOLD Phin Challenge

If 100 GOLD Phins donate to this challenge, each will receive a branded stainless steel tumbler. One lucky winner will receive an iPad Mini. The GOLD Phin who generates the most gifts using the "advocate" tab on our giving page will receive a pair of Apple AirPods Pro.

Greek Challenge

Greek organizations (current and past*) will compete for the following prizes:

Most Donors

  • First Place: $2,500 + brick at River House
    • Congrats to Alpha Delta Pi!
  • Second Place: $500
    • Congrats to Delta Delta Delta!

Most Dollars Raised

  • First Place: $2,500 + brick at River House
    • Congrats to Alpha Delta Pi!
  • Second Place: $500
    • Congrats to Delta Delta Delta!

Benchmark

  • Each Greek organization currently active on campus that gets 25 alumni donors will receive $1,000 for their chapter
    • Congrats to Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Delta Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, Sigma Chi and Sigma Nu for reaching their alumni benchmarks!
  • Any Greek organization no longer active on campus that gets 25 alumni donors will earn $1,000 for their national philanthropy

*Greek organizations that are currently active on campus will receive prize money to their chapter. If an inactive Greek organization wins one of the challenges, the funds will be donated to their national philanthropy.

Parents and Families Challenge

Parents and families compete to raise funds in honor of their student's graduation year (Freshman: Class of 2024, Sophomore: 2023, Junior: 2022 or Senior: 2021).

Most Dollars Raised

  • The class year that raises the most will win a drive-in movie experience on-campus!
