Phins Up Mentees
A Phins Up Mentee is a student who is interested in looking ahead at their professional future, open to creating new connections, and willing to benefit from the knowledge of a mentor.

Requirements to Become a Phins Up Mentee
- Complete and submit a Phins Up Mentorship Program application
- Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Be an actively enrolled Jacksonville University student with at least one academic semester remaining
- Participate in the Phins Up Mentorship Program for at least one academic semester
- Attend at least one Phins Up Mentorship event each semester
- Communicate and/or meet with my mentor at least once per month
- Provide my mentor at least 24 hour’s notice when canceling an appointment
- Provide feedback, send status updates and participate in semesterly assessments in order to continue growth within the program
- Recognize my mentor may or may not be in the same career field I'm seeking, but will still be able to benefit from their career advice and guidance
- Ability to keep all information confidential, to act with good judgment and discretion and abide by Jacksonville University policies and procedures
