More than $4.1 million raised in just five days. For the Jacksonville University community, that overwhelming generosity has become the hallmark of Dolphin Dash.
Students, families, faculty, staff and alumni rallied together for JU’s five-day giving challenge. By the time the campaign concluded, more than 4,200 donors had contributed, providing critical support to scholarships, academic programs, athletics and student initiatives that directly support the university’s mission and growth.

Dolphin Dash continues to unite the Dolphin family in a spirited effort that radiates far beyond campus. This year’s Dash drew support from donors from all 50 states, reflecting the broad reach and enduring connections of JU’s alumni and supporters.
“Giving back is my way of paying it forward,” said Lark Will, who earned her MBA from JU in 1992 and credited JU with shaping her professional career. Will joined nearly 800 fellow alumni who showed their gratitude by donating.
Students played a visible and active role throughout the campaign. Colleges, athletic teams and affinity groups competed for top spots on the Dolphin Dash leaderboard, earning recognition for the most donors and dollars raised.

For many student-athletes, Dolphin Dash funding directly supports training, travel and facility improvements. One organization particularly excited to participate was the University’s new Club Hockey team, which enjoyed its first year in the Dash after its founding last fall.
“Having the opportunity to raise money for our sport that we will use for this season and next season to help offset costs for our players is amazing,” said Club Hockey member Greg Pelini ’27. “We wouldn’t be where we are now without founder, Michael Gugliotta, and our new ice hockey operations, Kira Kieler, who made promotion for Dolphin Dash so easy for the team and is one of the reasons why we are in the lead for our division!”
University leadership praised the collective effort that made the campaign a success.
"Each year, Dolphin Dash proves what our Dolphin Family can achieve when we come together in support," said Scott Bacon, Senior Vice President of External Affairs. "Every gift, large or small, opens doors for JU students and broadens opportunity. Our supporters' generosity signals the confidence they have in JU's students and the difference they'll make in the world."
As the campaign grows each year, Dolphin Dash continues to fuel momentum for Jacksonville University. The campaign’s success reflects a community united in its belief in JU’s students and the transformative power of education.
