Shircliff Circle
Launched in 2018, the Shircliff Circle, named for devoted supporter Robert “Bob” Shircliff, honors the individuals, corporations and foundations who make gifts to Jacksonville University for three or more consecutive years. Their consistent support of the University advances our mission to prepare our students for lifelong success in learning, achieving, leading and serving, and we are pleased to honor their annual loyalty.
Membership
Donors who give any amount, to any area of Jacksonville University consecutively for three or more calendar years, are considered members of the Shircliff Circle. To sustain participation, donors must simply make a gift every calendar year without interruption. To make arrangements for recurring annual gifts and ensure your membership, please visit our online giving page and select “Make this a recurring gift” on the form.
Years of Consecutive Giving
Shircliff Circle membership is based on household giving, and years of consecutive giving are calculated by the person in the household with the most years of loyalty regardless of their affiliation with Jacksonville University (i.e. alumni, friend, parent, faculty or staff). We realize you may have been giving to Jacksonville University for more years than you are being recognized, this may be the result of a missed giving opportunity since your first gift made to Jacksonville University.

Buy Back Program
Donors who have missed a consecutive year of giving are now able to update their giving record by retroactively making a gift for any one year missed. A year can be "bought back" for $100.
If you are interested in buying back a year, please contact Chelsea Santoro at (904) 256-7167. You may also buy back a missed year by making a gift at ju.edu/give/shircliff and indicating the year you wish to purchase back in the ‘comments’ field.
