Core Courses with Creativity & Culture Sorrento, Italy

About the Program

Partnering with the Sant’Anna Institute, on the majestic cliffs of Sorrento, Italy, this program is offered exclusively during the May-mester 2020. This program is a hybrid course. Students will complete work on line before and immediately following the three-week stay in Sorrento, Italy. While studying in Sorrento, students will participate in cultural excursions and field experiences on location in Rome, throughout the Sorrento area, and the Amalfi Coast. Students will examine, explore, and experience the Italian culture while creating digital photography, multimedia journalism, and strategic social media.

This program is designed for undergraduate students working to complete core requirements or electives while learning in a culturally rich environment. ART 376 fulfills the Fine Arts core requirement. COMM 452 can be counted as an IS core requirement, an elective, or an upper level communications course towards the Communication major or minor and or the Strategic Social Media Certificate or Minor.
