Sophomore Series

Student's second year in college can be both socially and academically challenging. The "newness" of the college experience has passed and some students may find themselves questioning their personal, academic, and long-term goals. Jacksonville University wants to make students aware of the resources and programs that are available to them during their sophomore year.

The SophoMORE Series is a program designed to provide students with academic, career, financial, personal, and social information specific to their second year at Jacksonville University. The goal of the initiative is to promote academic success, wellness, retention, increase rate of progress towards graduation, and to encourage campus and community engagement.

The Student Solutions Center is available to assist students and answer any questions they may have regarding your experience at JU. If you would like to set up an appointment, email studentsolutionscenter@ju.edu, or feel free to stop by our office in the Davis Student Commons.
