Dr. Michelle Edmonds is a Professor of Nursing at the Jacksonville University Keigwin School of Nursing, where she has been teaching since 2003. She obtained her BSN and MSN degrees from the University of North Florida and a PhD in Nursing from Barry University. Dr. Edmonds is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) and certified nurse educator (CNE). Her main research interests include NP transition to practice, cultural competence, study abroad, simulation, and other engaging teaching strategies for nursing students.
