Linda Shubert has a passion for nursing education in both the classroom and across a variety of clinical settings. She has a special heart for the geriatric patient, having worked with this population across the continuum of eldercare as rehab nurse, geriatric nurse case manager, consultant, LTC director of nursing, and educator.
She is an active member of International Association for Nurses in Clinical Simulation and Skills Labs (INACSL) as well as the Jacksonville Association of Nurses in Education (JANIE) and the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration (NADONA).
Her special areas of interest include Transition to Practice and Competency-based Learning & Evaluation. She has presented at national and international conferences, most recently NADONA conference, podium presenter: “What’s in YOUR toolbox? Creating competency-based learning and evaluation in the LTC Setting.” In July, 2016.
