Position Summary

The Department of Physics, with the College of Arts and Sciences at Jacksonville University, invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics, beginning August 2020.

Essential Job Duties

  • The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, and possibly research methods.  
  • Research involving undergraduates or other engaged learning experiences with industry, collaborating academic institutions, national and regional labs is encouraged.  
  • The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills.  

Prerequisites Required for Position

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or be near completion.
