Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computing Science
Computing Science Department – Cybersecurity (tenure track)
The department of Computing Science at Jacksonville University invites applications for a tenure track position, beginning August 2019.
The department features majors in Computing Science, Information Systems, and Cybersecurity. Specialization in cybersecurity is required, with preference given to candidates with expertise and teaching experience in one or more of the following security areas: data, software, system, human, organizational and societal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience directing students in undergraduate research and development of software applications as a capstone course would be beneficial. Additional expectations include actively pursuing scholarly research and professional development opportunities.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in cybersecurity, information assurance, cyber operations, computer security, computer science, or closely related area by August 16, 2019.
