Position Summary

The Division of Social Science at Jacksonville University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Political Science.  The position is to begin in August 2018. 

Preferred Qualifications

  •  The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Political Science with a primary field in American politics. The successful candidate will be dedicated to teaching, university service, research, and must be willing to mentor students.  The new faculty member will be required to teach four classes per semester: two sections of American National Politics and Government and a rotation of two electives in American politics.  The ability to teach research methods as part of that rotation is required. The ability to teach American Foreign Policy would be a plus.
