Essential Job Duties

  • The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, including research methods.
  • Research involving undergraduates or other engaged learning experiences with industry, collaborating academic institutions, national and regional labs is encouraged.
  • The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Prerequisites Required for Position

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Ph.D in physics (completed by August 15, 2020) with a background in either theoretical physics or physics education research.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience and a background in biophysics, condensed matter physics, econophysics, or high-energy physics.
