Biology and Marine Science
The Department of Biology and Marine Science invites applications for a full time tenure-track assistant professor position to teach microbiology for health professionals (on-campus and online) in support of the College of Health Sciences as well as introductory biology and microbiology courses for biology, marine science, and chemistry majors. Active research involving undergraduate and graduate students is encouraged. A strong commitment to providing high quality education with high levels of teacher/student interaction is required. The position will begin August 2018 and some relocation funds will be available. Jacksonville University is an independent comprehensive university with an enrollment of 2900 undergraduates.
- A PhD with relevant coursework is required and previous teaching experience is preferred.
