The School of Engineering and Technology in the Davis College of Business & Technology
at Jacksonville University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate
Professor of Cybersecurity to start in the Fall of 2022.

Essential Job Duties
- This 9-month position includes responsibilities in teaching, research, and service
- The individual selected for this position will teach a range of courses in cybersecurity and computer science at introductory and advanced levels such as ethical hacking and penetration testing, digital forensics, internet security, cybersecurity practicum, systems administration, and cloud computing security.
- The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with colleagues in the department, college, campus, as well as professional community and organizations.
Prerequisites Required for Position
Minimum Education Requirement
- The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. in cybersecurity, computer science or a closely related field.
Minimum Work Experience
- Prior teaching or training experience, especially on a cyber range platform, is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong track record of cybersecurity experience in industry and/or government is preferred.
