Position Summary

The candidate for this position should have a minimum of a MA/MS in Communication. Significant business experience (5 years) is considered a very positive complement to the academic qualifications. The successful candidate must exhibit a commitment to and provide evidence of teaching excellence. Teaching assignments can be expected in both undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA programs. In addition to the duties listed, the candidate should possess the ability to foster positive partnerships on campus and the business community.

Essential Job Duties

  • Quality classroom instruction
  • Completion of SIRs – Fall and Spring
  • Updated Syllabus per class per semester
  • Updated Book Selection for University Bookstore per class per semester
  • Student Grades submitted on deadline

Work Conditions

  • Air conditioned Classrooms
  • Electronic Teaching Podiums
  • Overhead projectors

Prerequisites Required for Position

Minimum Education Requirement

  • MA / MS in Communication

Minimum Work Experience

  • Five years in the field of Business Communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching experience at the adult or college level
