Position Summary

This position will take the lead on producing creative video content and assist in oversight and handle all live TV and web TV broadcasts as well as producing features and highlight packages for JUDolphins.com.

Essential Job Duties

  • Produce content for JUDolphins.com, including highlights and special features; Instagram and YouTube

  • Lead creative direction for intro videos and other video board, social media or broadcast productions

  • Assist with directing and producing/direct all live TV and web streaming broadcasts

  • Oversee a student staff and recruit students to work on the crews for each broadcast

  • Ensure that all games are produced at a TV broadcast quality level

  • Develop relationships and work with external constituents for content and options for exporting it

Special Skills

  • Advanced computer skills

  • Ability to multitask with several projects going at one time

  • Ability to work with various editing and production programs

  • Ability to work with ESPN3

Work Conditions

  • Nights and weekends are required

  • Required to have room in Botts Hall

  • Required to participate in campus meal plan

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to move or carry camera and other video equipment as required

Prerequisites Required for Position

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Work Experience

  • 6 months in athletics department or TV station
