Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations provides development and support for the application cycle and CRM portal maintenance, and database administrator duties within Slate for the Office of Admissions. This position assists in managing user permissions, data integrity, and error resolution for data pertaining to prospective, applicant, and admitted students; monitors daily data imports and application platform changes; updates rule-based automation; monitors counselor and applicant portals; and creates documentation of business practices. Position requires occasional evening and weekend work. 

Essential Job Duties

There are three areas of responsibility associated with this position:   

  1.  Management of the day-to-day processes and functions associated with JU’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, Slate.  
  2. Ensuring data integrity throughout systems and reports. 
  3. Collaborating with both JU enrollment teams and additional departments to improve operations and create a positive experience for future students and CRM users.  

 

These three areas of responsibility include these essential job duties:  

  • Experience with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems. (Technolutions Slate experience is preferred) 
  • Familiarity with data structures and analytical tools. 
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently 
  • Ability to work both independently, with little direct supervision and collaboratively, as a member of a team 
  • A customer-friendly and positive attitude, especially while working under pressure 
  • Ability to cultivate and manage key relationships 
  • Ability to maintain confidential information 

This administrative position requires hybrid-based office hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.  Flexibility to adjust schedule to work some evenings and weekends may be required. 

Special Skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office. (required) 
  • Familiarity with HTML, Liquid Markup, and/or SQL (preferred, but not required) 
  • Knowledge of third-party application platforms (e.g. Coalition, Common App, WebAdmit) (preferred, but not required) 

Work Conditions

  • Primarily indoors except when traveling between campus buildings or being off-campus. 
  • Significant collaboration through video calling and business chat tools 

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines. 
  • Light work-standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs. 
  • Near and far vision sufficient to read written communications and computer display screens.

Prerequisites Required for Position

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Associate’s degree in Technology-related field or equivalent relevant experience 

Minimum Work Experience

  • Relevant technology experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of systems, data analysis and/or higher education admissions operations.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of admissions operations, cycle, policies, and support activities, CRM experience
