Elizabeth Feustel currently serves as the Program Manager for the Master in Public Policy at Jacksonville University. In this capacity, Elizabeth is responsible for the administration of the Academic and Public Policy Programs conducted by JU’s Public Policy Institute. Elizabeth is also the Pre-Law Advisor and Faculty Sponsor for the Pre-Law Society for the University. Beginning in January 2019, Elizabeth will teach undergraduate Public Policy courses.

Prior to serving Jacksonville University, Elizabeth was the Public Policy Research Assistant at the Jacksonville Civic Council, and a Research Analyst for the Jacksonville Public Education Fund (JPEF). During her time with JPEF, Elizabeth spent a year analyzing the capital infrastructure of Duval County Public Schools, developing a prioritization matrix for capital improvement of school facilities.

Ms. Feustel received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2016, where she was a member of the Harding Inn of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. Simultaneously, Elizabeth was a member of the first Master in Public Policy Program cohort in the state of Florida, housed at the Public Policy Institute of Jacksonville University. Prior to her graduate education, Elizabeth completed her Bachelor of Science in Economics at Jacksonville University, where she was distinguished with University and Magna Cum Laude honors.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Elizabeth is a member of several community organizations, including the JAX Chamber and ImpactJAX. In February 2017, Elizabeth was appointed by Mayor Lenny Curry to the City of Jacksonville Joint Planning Committee. As further recognition of her leadership, Elizabeth was selected to be a member of the first cohort of the ImpactJAX Hightower Emerging Leaders Fellowship, and Class IV of the James Madison Institute’s Leaders Fellowship. Ms. Feustel currently serves as the Public Policy Chair for ImpactJAX.

Elizabeth is an avid fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and is the pet parent of a rescue dog named Riley. She resides in Arlington with her fiancé Steve.
