Who are the new arrivals on our shores?  What is their history and culture? How do you feel about these new arrivals?  Are the needs of the new wave of immigrants different than those of the early twentieth century?  How is Jacksonville impacted by our new neighbors?  Work individually and in groups to discover the answers to these and many more questions.  Develop and implement a plan for tutoring teenagers from other countries, earning service learning hours.  Create a unified project that will offer real-life project activities and experiences.  Impact the lives of many young people who will eventually become our new citizens!
