New Student Orientation

Dear Students,
Hello from beautiful and sunny Florida! We are excited about your upcoming attendance at Jacksonville University, and hope you are equally as enthusiastic. This is only the beginning of a journey that you will never forget. While at Jacksonville University, you will have the opportunity to experience and participate in many phenomenal events that you wouldn’t even begin to imagine. We can’t wait to see you in August!

In the meantime, keep a look out for information regarding the beginning of your college experience. You should be receiving information from the Orientation staff regularly, beginning in May, and you should be contacted by a group leader in April. Group leaders were chosen from the outstanding students here at Jacksonville University. They will be your guide and point-person on much of the things you will experience along the way. These students are motivated, knowledgeable, fun, and most of all enthusiastic about your attendance at JU.

Orientation begins on Thursday, August 21 with move-in to the residential facilities and opening session that evening.  The fun starts as soon as you arrive on campus!! Many activities would be ready and waiting for your attendance. Come prepared to be going non-stop, receiving a lot of great information, and getting to know people from all around the world all in a pleasant trend. We ask that you come excited and ready to try new things.
