• Our State-Approved 5-year Masters in Elementary Education program allows students to graduate not only with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education but with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education as well. Our program is approved by the State of Florida which means that the program meets all the State of Florida Department of Education requirements.

 Field Placement Experience

• Our students are in the field the very first semester of the program. Students are considered to be pre-interns for the first 4 years with an increase in responsibility in the classroom each semester. It is in the 5th year that students complete the student teaching internship and an action research project. The integration of these field experiences allow the students the hands-on experiences needed to gain confidence to be outstanding teachers, leaders, and researchers.

• The School of Education is a small community that maintains individualized attention to each student. Our faculty members are committed professional teachers who individually and collectively believe that "students come first" and are always accessible, warm and attuned to the needs of the students.
