INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Banking in London. Manufacturing in Mexico. Logistics in Asia. Entrepreneurship in Central Europe. With a degree in international business, the possibilities are endless. Jacksonville University’s international business program brings together a solid foundation in business skills, a global perspective, and a language specialization. Armed with this degree, you’ll find (literally!) a world of options for your future.
This major builds on the basic business curriculum by adding global perspectives in economics, finance, marketing, and government and politics. In each course, JU faculty bring their own international experiences in teaching, working and studying to life in the classroom. International business majors also take language courses, and have the option of studying abroad for a semester or more. Several students have worked with faculty on independent research projects. As an international business major, you can customize the program to fit your geographic area of interest.

Facilities & Resources
The new Davis College of Business building is the largest classroom facility on campus. Its wired classrooms (and widely available wireless technology) provide technologically advanced learning spaces. Each classroom has computer, DVD, and video projection systems that faculty use in lectures and students use in presentations. Two computer lab/classrooms, a Trading Room and a Behavioral Lab provide specialized learning space. The facility also has executive training rooms, conference space, breakout rooms, a student lounge and a small café. Business and accounting students can get tutoring and extra help through the Math Lab, which is part of the Learning Resources Network.
Internship & Career Opportunities
The Davis College of Business offers internship opportunities for students in all major areas of study, including international business. Internships allow students to expand their education and skills, receive exposure to real-life experiences, and enhance their career opportunities while earning academic credits. More than 50 local and/or national organizations sponsor internships for College of Business students.
