Orthodontics

Jacksonville University began it's Advanced Specialty Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in August 2003.   The program is housed in a free standing clinical facility and closely mimics the private practice environment.  This full-time, twenty-four month intensive program combines didactic, clinical and research components leading to a Certificate in Orthodontics.

The Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of  "Accreditation without Reporting Requirements."  The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.   The Commission on Dental Accreditation can be contacted at (312) 440-4653 or at 211 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL  60611.

The School of Orthodontics at Jacksonville University participates with PASS, however, we require our own supplemental application.
