The search for a new president of Jacksonville University commenced May 7, 2012 with the goal of having a new leader selected Fall 2012 and to begin serving July 1, 2013. Dr. Kerry D. Romesburg is retiring after nine years of leading Jacksonville University and over forty years of serving as an academic CEO.

The Board of Trustees of Jacksonville University have contracted with AGBsearch to conduct the search for the new President.​
