Melissa Kastner, Graduate Student
Melissa Kastner was
selected as the National Orientation Director's Association (NODA) Intern this
summer. She is responsible for
supervising the orientation coordinators, assisting with the training manual
for Group Leaders for the Week of Welcome in August, serving on the Residence
Life Professional Staff on-call rotation, assisting with the implementation of
the summer orientation sessions, and a great deal of other things! She is a graduate student working toward her
Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration at the University of
North Florida (UNF). In addition to
completing course work, Melissa is a graduate assistant at Jacksonville
University in the Department of Student Involvement and has completed a
practicum position in the Office of Admissions at UNF. Prior to graduate school, Melissa completed
her Bachelor's in English with a minor in Dance at The University of Akron
(Ohio) in 2012. Melissa is excited for
the opportunity to work as the NODA intern and is looking forward to a great
