Position Description

The Freshmen Inquiry and Application Coordinator is responsible for handling supporting documentation.​ Reports to the Chief Admissions Officer.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties:

  • Identify and resolves application errors
  • Prepares electronic and printed file folders for applicants
  • Enters incoming transcripts via student information systems (Ellucian Recruiter, Ellucian Colleague, FER Extinguisher)
  • Maintains inquiry and application files and databases
  • Logs and processes incoming deposits and fees
  • Coordinates and prepares incoming student information
  • Collates and dispatches email and physical mail correspondence
  • Liaisons to Admission and Enrollment officers and other departments as appropriate and assigned
  • Covers the Admissions Reception area when necessary (answering phones and assisting prospective students and their families)
  • Supervises student workers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Undergraduate educational experience preferred
  • Familiarity with database systems
  • High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and oral communications
  • Strong problem solving ability
