Provost and Chief Academic Officer
Jacksonville University invites
nominations and applications for the key leadership position of Provost and
Chief Academic Officer. This position reports to the president and will serve
as the senior leader of the institution and the senior member of the
president's executive team. President Timothy Cost seeks a seasoned academic
leader to engage all University constituencies in a high performing,
results-oriented, comprehensive academic leadership role. This position,
together with the president, will lead the university and will function in
close partnership with faculty, deans, and division and department chairs. The
Provost and Chief Academic Officer will be responsible for strengthening and
sustaining the institution's academic distinction, majors and programs,
faculty, and all academic facilities. This energetic leader will be expected to
engage faculty, students, staff and alumni in various academic initiatives to
advance the future strength of the institution.

leader having held senior leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies such as
Kodak, Bristol-Myers Squibb, ARAMARK, Wyeth/Pfizer, most recently serving as
Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at PepsiCo.
